- Morrison is probably best known as the home of the Red Rocks
Park and Amphitheater. Many of the concertgoers
stay at the Cliff House Lodge during the concert season.
Not only do they attend the concerts, but they also take
advantage of the many hiking trails that wind around the
striking rock formations. We are so close to the Red Rocks
that many of our guests “walk” to the amphitheatre
from the Cliff House Lodge.
- In the summer, the Cliff House Lodge and the surrounding
shops attract many people who are out enjoying fine food
at local restaurants, shopping at unique boutiques or relaxing
at several full service salons. Morrison also offers cycling,
nearby fishing, and so much more.
- Bear
Creek Lake Park Stables offers horse rentals, day camps,
birthday parties with ponies, and hayrides.
- This small mountain town is also known for the dinosaur
relics found in the area. Many guests and tourists can visit
the Morrison
Natural History Museum to see samples that were discovered
in Morrison. They can also visit Dinosaur
Ridge for walking tours.

amenities are nearby for your enjoyment. The Cliff House
Lodge is just a 75-minute drive to Winter
Park,
Breckenridge or
Keystone.
- Guests can travel the Lariat
Loop, a Colorado Scenic and Historic road trip. Enjoy
scenic views, tour historic buildings, visit dozens of museums
and attractions. You must visit Buffalo
Bill’s Grave! Driving through history on the 40
mile loop is an unforgettable outing. After a long day,
you can come back to the Cliff House Lodge and relax in
your private hot tub!

Speedway is located a few minutes from Morrison and
is a popular attraction for premiere drag-racing events.
It’s a family owned facility that welcomes guests
from around the world.
- Looking for a train ride? Hop onto I-70 and drive to Georgetown
Loop - Historic Mining and Railroad Park, and journey to
another time.
- Visit Denver’s premier
fine arts galleries. Enjoy the work of world-renowned
artists and sculptors along with many other attractions
in downtown Denver.
